Mystic Treasure Empire builds live-ops economies, competitive esports coaching, and player acquisition campaigns for mobile and PC studios across the UK. From Bermondsey, we turn one-session curiosity into day-90 retention.

From a Bermondsey back room to a full-stack game agency
We are a team of 24 economy designers, esports analysts, and growth marketers who all ship because we all play. Here is how the empire grew.
- 2016
Founded on Bermondsey Street
Two ex-mobile-studio designers started tuning gacha odds and season passes for indie teams out of a shared studio above a coffee roaster.
- 2018
First live-ops retainer
A UK puzzle-RPG studio handed us their full live calendar. We rebuilt the reward economy and pushed D30 retention from 9% to 17% in two seasons.
- 2021
Esports coaching wing opens
We added a competitive division, coaching amateur ladder teams into three national finals across tactical shooters and auto-battlers.
- 2024
48 titles and counting
Today we run economy design, UA campaigns, and coaching under one roof, working with studios and creators from Southwark to Scotland.
Four rounds from kickoff to a live, tuned economy
No mystery meetings. Every engagement runs on a fixed, transparent cadence so you always know what ships next.
Teardown & telemetry
We audit your funnel, sink-and-source economy, and store. You get a 30-page teardown with the three fixes worth the most revenue.
Economy blueprint
We model currencies, drop tables, and progression curves in a live spreadsheet sim, then pressure-test them against your real player data.
Build & instrument
We spec the live-ops calendar, write the event briefs, and set up the dashboards so wins and regressions show up within hours, not weeks.
Launch & iterate
We ship the first season with you, watch the cohorts daily, and hold a fortnightly tuning review until the numbers hold on their own.

Studios keep coming back
“They rebuilt our season economy and our D30 retention jumped from 11% to 19% in a single quarter. The teardown alone paid for the retainer.”
Priya R.
Live-ops Lead, mobile RPG studio, London · March 2025
“Our ladder team went from stuck in Platinum to a national semi-final. The coaching was tactical, honest, and never sugar-coated.”
Marcus D.
Team Captain, tactical shooter, Manchester · January 2025
“The UA creative testing they set up cut our cost-per-install by 34% before launch week. We finally trust our marketing spend.”
Sofia L.
Founder, cozy sim studio, Brighton · November 2024
Questions we hear before kickoff
Both. For live titles we start with a telemetry teardown and tune from real cohorts. For pre-launch teams we model the economy from your design docs and comparable titles, then instrument everything so you launch with dashboards ready. Roughly a third of our clients come to us before soft launch.
The one-off economy teardown starts at £3,200. Ongoing live-ops retainers run from £6,500 per month depending on release cadence, and esports coaching blocks start at £900 for a six-week ladder push. Every quote is fixed-scope with no surprise add-ons.
We focus on free-to-play and premium mobile, PC, and console-adjacent titles. Our strongest track record is in RPG, tactical shooter, auto-battler, and cozy sim economies, but the underlying sink-and-source modelling transfers across most genres.
Yes. We plug into whatever you already run — GameAnalytics, Amplitude, or a custom warehouse — rather than forcing a migration. If you have no instrumentation yet, we set up an event schema and dashboards as part of the build phase.
We host workshops at our Bermondsey Street studio and can visit teams across Greater London. Remote studios get the same cadence over video, and we run quarterly on-site tuning sprints for retainer clients wherever they are in the UK.
